Jury Convicts Jonesboro Man of Residential Burglary

JONESBORO, AR, February 17, 2016 – Scott Ellington, Prosecuting Attorney for the Second Judicial District of Arkansas, announced Wednesday that Craighead County jurors convicted Michael Crenshaw, 36, of Jonesboro, of residential burglary. The jury returned its verdict late Tuesday afternoon.

Circuit Judge Cindy Thyer sentenced Crenshaw to 30 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections. He was convicted of one count of residential burglary. Crenshaw has several pending counts of residential burglary which remain on the Court’s docket.

Ellington commended the work of the Jonesboro Police Department, specifically Shay Racy, Jeremy Parnell and Erik Johnson; Probation Officers Bryan Hook and Chad Jones with the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections as well as Craighead County Deputy Prosecutor Charles Finkenbinder, who prosecuted the case.
